Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do you travel?

Yes!  I often travel for weddings.  A travel fee will apply dependent upon location.

Do you have a list of locations?

Yes!  Often for bridal/formal sessions, engagement sessions and elopements clients ask for a list of locations to best choose which best fits them.   I am happy to share ideas once your wedding day is booked.

Do I get to choose the music of my film?

Music plays a crucial role in establishing the tone, pacing, and emotional impact of your final film. However, using copyrighted music requires proper licensing for online publication.

To ensure your film’s seamless online distribution, I utilize curated music libraries that offer licensed tracks. You have two options:

1) Select your preferred music: Browse our library and choose songs that resonate with your vision.

2) Let Amber curate: Share your style and genre preferences, and Amber will expertly match the music she best thinks fits your film.

Will you capture specific moments or details?

Absolutely! I’m happy to capture all the key moments of your event, provided I have a clear understanding of your expectations and timeline beforehand. As a detail-oriented videographer, I strive to capture every special moment, so don’t hesitate to share any specific requests.

What is your backup plan in case of technical issues?

While unforeseen technical issues are always a possibility, rest assured I’m fully prepared to handle them. My main camera utilizes dual SD card recording in case of SD card failure, and I have additional backup cameras, batteries, and equipment to ensure seamless capture. Additionally, all footage undergoes a backup process on three drives for triple security until your final film is delivered.

Will you work with our photographer?

I prioritize seamless collaboration with other vendors, including photographers. I’ll actively collaborate with your photographer to ensure our processes align for optimal coverage. However, while I’ll communicate my filming needs effectively, I can’t be held responsible for external disruptions like flash photography or individuals obstructing my cameras. Thankfully, I’ve enjoyed positive collaboration with nearly all past photographers, and I’m confident we can achieve the same for your wedding.

What do I need to book?

A 40% of total balance retainer fee, with signed contract form is required to reserve your date.  Remaining balance is due week of the wedding.

What if we need to reschedule?

I understand that unforeseen circumstances may necessitate changes to your wedding date. To best accommodate your needs, I offer the following rescheduling options:

Free Reschedule: If notified at least three months before your original event date, you may reschedule to a new date within my availability without any additional fee.

Reschedule Fee: If notified within three months of your original event date, a $400 reschedule fee will apply.
